About Moe
I am a second year medical student at Cambridge University, coming tenth in the year following first year exams. I have three years of experience tutoring common entrance English and Maths, and GCSE Sciences for students age 7-15. I have also supported students with Medical school interview preparations.

I will usually ask to be provided with samples of the student's work and school curriculum prior to/at the start of the first class so that I can get an understanding of the student's strengths and weaknesses. I will tailor the class accordingly, and pay particular attention on building the student's confidence, making the lessons upbeat, active and engaging so that tutees actually enjoy working.
I will often use quizzes, fast fire Q and As and more elaborate discussions where appropriate to build on the student's understanding and to commit key detail to memory. Repetition is key but reading notes is not nearly as effective as being asked to produce information yourself.
