About Pip
With years of tutoring experience, both academically and in extra curriculars, I have developed an effective and professional yet encouraging teaching style which helps students to go further in their subjects and exams.
As a recent graduate of Cambridge (studying Natural Sciences) I have recent and personal experience of the new GCSE and A-level exams. Combined with my tried and tested methods of exam preparation - which allowed me to receive eight Grade 9 results at GCSE and all A*s in maths and sciences at A-level - I believe I am in a strong position to guide you through your exams.
While subjects can be tricky and exam periods stressful, with the right support I believe every student is capable of academic success.

In every session I aim to improve your understanding and ability in the topic area, giving you the skills and confidence to excel in your classes and exams.
Working with each student as an individual allows me to tailor my sessions to your learning style, needs, and academic aspirations while keeping the learning manageable and (dare I say it) fun! The welcoming atmosphere I create helps to encourage students, wherever they are at in their academic journey, and questions are always welcome.
For those working towards exams I will tailor the session content specifically to your exam board and include practice questions to get you comfortable with what you'll meet in the exam, and make sure you're gaining as many marks as you can.
