About Caitlin
I am a funded PhD candidate in English Literature at the University of Cambridge, focusing primarily on William Blake. Before this, I worked in corporate partnerships at the Tate galleries. My MPhil was at Trinity College Dublin (Distinction) and my BA was at King's College London (First Class Honours).

I have worked as a private tutor since 2021, working mainly with GCSE and A-Level students on English Literature. However, I also offer tuition in English Language, History, and Spanish at GCSE level, Psychology, EPQ, and History at A-Level, and undergraduate level English and university applications. My approach to tuition differs student-to-student, and ultimately, I am keen to work in the way that best suits you. This is something that we can discuss in detail. Some students, for example, prefer to work consistently on exam questions in order to refine their technique. Other students prefer lecture-style sessions, with me teaching them their course content. I am proud of all the students that I have worked with, with all of them having made progress under my tuition. Particular success stories include: a student with all A/A* grades at A-Level (English, Psychology, and History), a student who received 47/50 (A*) in their EPQ, and most recently, a student who was accepted onto an MBA programme at the University of Oxford, winning the prestigious Director's Award to receive full funding.
