About Felix
Hi, I’m Felix. I am a first year engineering undergraduate at the University of Cambridge and took my A Levels in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry last summer, obtaining straight A*s.
Having achieved ten grade 9s at GCSE and having sat them only just over two years ago, I know that I will be able to help you achieve your goals in maths and/or physics, whether you are aiming for a pass or the top grade.
I am passionate about maths and physics and I hope to make every one of my lessons interesting and enjoyable. I do not want you just to learn the content; I want you to understand it. In my experience, having a genuine understanding of a topic not only helps you to retain the information more easily and for longer, but it is also much more satisfying. I want to help you experience the satisfaction and the joy of learning and understanding.

I teach maths and physics up to GCSE level. A typical lesson will be one hour in length and will take place online. Lessons will usually be split into two halves. In the first, I will explain the topic that we are looking at on the given day. In the second, we will work through a short set of practice questions together. This is the way in which I have always learnt most effectively and I believe you will too.
My prior teaching experience consists of helping to run a weekly science club at a primary school. Every session, I helped a small group of pupils conduct a scientific experiment. I then helped them to understand why they obtained the results that they did by explaining the relevant scientific concepts.

I have known Felix's parents for some time now, and learnt about his proficiency in STEM subjects through them. We encouraged him to get into tutoring and he has been very successful for my son, helping him through the common entrance. We hope to have him back for the GCSE next year!
