About Gregory
Hello! My name is Greg and I have recently graduated from studying Undergraduate Music at the University of Cambridge where I co-ran the Girton College Music Society. I now work as a music teacher in Cambridge!
I am originally a self-taught pianist and composer, now with three years of Music study at Cambridge University to cover more technical elements. I have also had the opportunity to musically direct a number of shows, including 'The Little Mermaid', 'Seussical the Musical', 'Kiss me, Kate!', and a musical adaptation of 'Holes' for which I also composed the score. My most recent project was the composition of my own original opera ('Plumes of Smoke') which was staged in Cambridge in March 2026! I am currently working on a Musical adaptation which I hope to take to the West End in due course...
The original recording 'Plumes of Smoke' is available below, towards the bottom of this page: it's an entirely original story and composition by me, and I'm also playing the Minister. Enjoy!

Greg is an excellent tutor. Very professional & knowledgeable, as well as supportive and kind. Whenever being taught by Greg, you always get the absolute BEST out of your time together. He goes into great depth when teaching but manages to put it into a perspective even a person like me with Asperger’s syndrome can understand. He has a wonderful sense of humour, is not at all strict, listens to every word of what you have to say and is an all round FANTASTIC TEACHER! I couldn’t recommend anyone higher!
