I try and find out what pupils find difficult about a subject, and then talk through the theory and offer different methods to approach problems, providing plenty of examples and questions to make sure the content is understood! Having not always enjoyed or been good at science and maths, and having taught numerous people, I am sympathetic to how frustrating not grasping something can be and will work very hard, offering all the different tips and tricks I've learned, to ensure the best possible results whilst keeping it fun.
I am a sciences student with a passion for understanding the natural world and its laws, and helping other people understand and appreciate them. I have been teaching pupils for three years, and having very recently completed my A-levels, I am in a great position to teach this content to other young people.

PROFILE AND SKILLS
I am a polite, hardworking, diligent, and enthusiastic individual who is committed to achieving the best in all things I do. After a year out of formal education, I will start studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge in October 2018.
My methodical approach and time management skills will ensure I keep on top of any amount of work. Helping at a care home for the elderly and teaching maths to younger pupils in school have really honed my communication skills and patience. My energy and drive coupled with the skills I have learned from collaborating in bands, rugby teams and expedition groups make me an asset to any team.
Being keen to get experience outside of school, I advertised my services as a maths, physics, chemistry, and guitar, tutor and have had numerous pupils of various ages from September 2015 to date. All my pupils have found my dedication to their learning and my enthusiasm for the subjects have led to great results. Over the summer of 2017 I worked for several months in Revolution Cardiff behind the bar and as bar support. This year I worked part time as a Sales Colleague in Currys PCWorld.
