About Marlene
Memorisation techniques and hand independence are often seen as mechanical chores by students. Sight reading and ear training require a different mental approach than many expect.
I rely on my BA Popular Music degree to simplify music theory and sight playing. My 10 years of experience teaching 390 students shaped my methods.
Dynamics and expression are key to sight transposition. I treat piano as a craft that builds over time. It is a steady path.
