About Ayesha
I am a Ph.D. candidate in English Literature at Columbia University and have been a writing tutor for 3 years now. I have helped students write their essays as well as applications to colleges. I have been an instructional designer and facilitator in life skills, and I am trained to work with a diverse community. I have also been a mentor to 18-25 year-olds and I always approach the teaching space as one where compassion is foregrounded. I understand the struggles of not having English as your first language and I think you can write well if you are ready to work for it. Nothing can stop you from achieving the grade you desire.
