About Blanca
Welcome all!
My name is Blanca, I am from Madrid and I have a Masters degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I am passionate about languages, literature, travelling and learning about other cultures, and it would be a pleasure to be able to transmit part of that passion to my students.
I have been working as a Spanish teacher for the last four years, both as a freelancer and through some Language Teaching platforms. My latest professional experience has been in Leeds, in the UK where, besides teaching Spanish as a freelancer, I have carried on a professional internship in Teaching Spanish at the University.

I have been a languages' student my whole life, so I do know very different studying and teaching methods that may adapt to you, regarding your needs and expectations. I not only like to teach the language but also the culture of my homeland, since I believe is as necessary as the language if you want to communicate succesfully.
Every student is welcome, no matter your nationality, level, age, likes or dislikes. I will adopt a communicative approach, always keeping in mind what you want to learn and what are your purposes in learning Spanish. So, at first we will have an evaluation/talk to see the level of Spanish you possess and to discuss and establish the objectives of the course. That will allow me to choose the appropriate teaching method for you.
