About Sydney
Hi! I'm Sydney, a certified Elementary School teacher in Massachusetts with three years of classroom experience as the lead teacher. I have a master's degree in Elementary Education from Boston University and have taught students with a wide range of learning styles and abilities. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and as an educator, my hope is to empower each child to feel confident in their academic abilities and to equip them with the skills they need to succeed. I do this through individualized instruction and finding ways to make the content meaningful to them.

Every student learns differently, and my goal as a tutor is to create engaging lessons that meet the students where they are. As a licensed elementary school teacher, I use assessments and observations to identify each student's strengths and areas of growth.
Whether your child needs help building foundational reading skills, confidence in writing, understanding of math concepts, or staying on task, I provide personalized instruction that meets them where they are.
I want learning to be challenging but encouraging, so I work to build relationships with my students, celebrate their progress, and work with them to build strategies that will continue to help them with their academics.
