About Megan
I studied English Literature and Language and Political Science at Queen's University while obtaining my Bachelor of Arts with Honours. I continued my studies at St. Francis Xavier University studying education, and graduated with my second degree with specializations in Secondary English and Social Studies.
I love teaching English and Literacy, especially for it's practical implications throughout everyone's lives. Strong literacy skills will benefit you when you are applying for jobs, reading over your mortgage, or even when buying a car. I am passionate about helping people to develop these skills in a welcoming and supportive environment.

I am a very thorough and holistic teacher- I find that getting to know my students and their personalities and interests helps me to craft lessons that draw their interest and helps to cultivate a life-long love for learning. Learning can be fun, and it is important to me that my students are helped to understand this.
I am happy to tutor individuals of all ages and abilities- from learning basic literacy skills to writing university papers.
