About Gail
With 10 years of experience in ESL teaching, I have worked extensively with high school and college students to help them master English with confidence. My approach is centred on personalised learning, ensuring that each lesson is carefully tailored to the student’s individual goals and learning style.
I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills while also encouraging practical usage through discussions and real-life examples. My classes are interactive, engaging, and structured to promote both understanding and application.
One of my key strengths is my ability to make complex topics simple and easy to grasp. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves.
My goal is to help students achieve academic success and develop long-term confidence in using English effectively.

I adopt a C³P teaching methodology—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, Problem-solving—to make ESL learning engaging and effective. Creativity is promoted through role-plays, storytelling, and project-based activities that inspire learners to explore language confidently.
Communication is a core focus. I encourage discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises to strengthen speaking, listening, and comprehension skills. Compassion ensures lessons are student-centred, adapting to individual learning styles and providing ongoing support and encouragement.
Problem-solving is incorporated through scenario-based exercises, real-life tasks, and analytical challenges, enabling students to apply English skills in meaningful ways. I also teach complementary subjects such as vocabulary enrichment, reading comprehension, and academic writing to foster holistic development.
This methodology equips students with confidence, creativity, empathy, and practical English skills that are useful in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
