About Sarah
I’m an OCT certified English teacher but I have been working in law enforcement for the past 9 years. I maintain my teaching skills by facilitating training and implementing methods for instructing new recruits within the agency where I am currently employed.
Although not your typical classroom setting, I love that I still have the opportunity to utilize my passion for educating. I did spend a few years teaching in a formal classroom setting, and even spent a year teaching abroad in Melbourne, Australia! However, teaching jobs were scarce in Ontario, Canada during that time, so I opted to make a career change. This was a decision I’ve never regretted, as I love my job and the opportunities I have been afforded!
I’m new to the online tutoring world but as I said, I love to teach. I also love to learn, so this will be something we adapt to together. I’m an honest person and I love open communication and dialogue.
