About Rod
I am a Licensed Professional Teacher in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree from J.H. Cerilles State College, and a holder of TESOL and TEYL certificates. I have over three years of experience teaching English online at 51Talk from 2021 to 2024 and additional experience as a Grade 6 Class Adviser at Tambulig SDA Elementary School from 2018 to 2020.
I am a patient, friendly, and dedicated teacher who enjoys helping students improve their English communication skills. I have experience teaching learners of different ages, abilities, and proficiency levels. I adapt my teaching strategies to meet each student's needs and create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in English.
I am skilled in classroom management, lesson preparation, module writing, and using technology for online instruction. My goal is to make learning English enjoyable, effective, and meaningful while helping students develop their speaking, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary skills. I encourage my students to participate actively, speak with confidence, and learn from their mistakes.
As a teacher, I believe that every student can learn and improve with proper guidance, patience, and encouragement. I look forward to sharing my knowledge, inspiring young learners, and helping students achieve their English learning goals through fun and interactive lessons.
