About Oliver

I am a native North American speaker. I hold a bachelor's degree in English from an American University, and I am a certified high school teacher in British Columbia, Canada. I am a certified ESL teacher (Oxford seminars). I have taught students from Algeria, Syria, Ukraine, and Korea. I love to pass on my love of all the nuances of the English language to my students.

About the lesson

I love to pass on my love of the English language to my students. After an initial assessment, I tailor lessons to your personal needs. I like to teach grammar and composition through conversation and storytelling. Being able to communicate in several languages is nourishment for both student and teacher.

Perfect! Oliver has a unique teaching style that combines educational excellence with a dash of fun. Two things really stand out about him patience and encouragement. No question was too silly, and no mistake was too embarrassing to correct. I felt comfortable taking risks with my English, knowing that Oliver would be there to guide me every step of the way. It's that kind of support that boosts your confidence and makes you believe in your own abilities. Learning English becomes more than just a task with Oliver; it becomes a delightful journey.
