About Amy
I am a Texas Certified Mathematics Teacher for grades 4 through 12. I went to college and received a degree in Mathematics while also taking teaching classes. I have taught for two of the local school districts which are highly rated! I most recently taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade intervention mathematics as well as Algebra I. I have experience in working with honors students as well as intervention students. I love to get to know my students and how they learn so that I can best help them succeed!
What I love most about tutoring is the opportunity to help students grow and enjoy math! Math is not the easiest subject to understand, but given the chance, I feel any student can learn and love math, too! I have always been a teacher at heart and look forward to working with you!
