About Taiwo
I believe in punctuality, having a growth mindset, being a content expert, and consistency. I have taught and tutored ELA in the USA and in other countries. I have coached spelling bee champions, edited peer-reviewed academic journal articles, facilitated reading clubs and much more. My experience is broad and I have taught students from all over the world. I am able to teach elementary, middle, high school, and college-level students. My lessons are always engaging and I implement tech-based learning as much as I can.

The first step is to understand what the goals and needs are of the student. This is done through transparent conversation and inquiry. If the student is in school and already taking courses on a subject then I ask for the student to share with me what they are learning and what they need support with. After that, I locate learning resources and activities for the student. I may also build a learning plan if the student does not have a learning guide from their institution. A typical lesson could look like a warm up, short lecture, guided practice, independent practice, and then a reflection. If the student needs help completing work then I support the student as needed for school work.
