About Sarah
I’m a certified elementary teacher with a Master’s in Reading and Literacy and specialized training in structured literacy and dyslexia intervention. With classroom experience in grades 1–2 and a background in private tutoring, I’m passionate about helping young readers build strong, confident foundations. My approach is supportive, personalized, and rooted in the Science of Reading. My credentials are: Reading Specialist certification (EC-12), standard Texas Teaching Certificate with STR (Science of Teaching Reading), and ESL Supplemental (EC-6).

My individualized reading lessons will focus on strengthening student skills in: phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, high-frequency word recognition, reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. My instruction is multisensory, systematic, and tailored to individual student needs. Whether your child has been identified with dyslexia or simply needs extra support with reading fundamentals, I will create a safe, engaging, and effective learning experience.
