About Desiree
I have my Masters Degree in Elementary Education and I am certified in Special Education and I also have my Autism Endorsement. I have been teaching for about 4 years now and I really enjoy what I do. I have taught regular ed, learning support, and life skills support. I am very knowledgeable on how to meet the needs of all my students. I enjoy teaching kids of all ages and seeing the joy when they progress.

In my classroom I use Differentiated Instructions and small group instruction. I like to break my students into groups based on levels and provide small group instruction to ensure that I am meeting the needs of all my students. This approach also allows me to see the areas that may I need to focus or spend more time on or an area of growth for my students.
