About Sophie
It always took me a while to grasp fundamentals when I was in middle school and early high school, and I understand how frustrating it can be when some topics just don’t make sense. With my now years of experience with high school and even university level material, I feel well equipped to pass on the skills I’ve learned and help out some fellow learners :)

My unique approach involves active but guided student participation, using questions and applied problem-solving to identify and correct misconceptions. I prioritise application and understanding over memorisation to reinforce fundamentals and build confidence independently, ultimately better preparing students for testing scenarios.
My experience in VCE and university level science and mathematics Equips me to give the best assistance to students in year 10 and younger.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, however I can make adjustments for student needs.
