About Aliya
Hi! I'm a first-year degree student in Science Education (majoring in Chemistry) at Universiti Malaya and will be entering my second year soon. I've been passionate about teaching since I was in Form 4, when I first tutored a Form 2 student in Mathematics. Since then, I’ve taught five students in Chemistry and one more in Mathematics. My experience includes helping secondary school students understand core concepts, improve exam techniques, and build confidence in both subjects. I focus on personalized teaching, using methods that suit each student’s learning style. My lessons are suitable for PT3, SPM, or anyone needing a strong foundation in Chemistry or Math. Being a student myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain topics in ways that are simple, relatable, and effective. I teach around the Johor Bahru area, and online lessons are also available for convenience. As a dedicated tutor with over 5 years of experience, I believe every student learns differently and that's exactly how I teach. I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s learning style, whether they need visual explanations, guided practice, or simpler breakdowns of tough concepts.
