About Ivy
I am a dedicated Chemistry instructor with an MChem degree and over 4 years of teaching experience. I specialise in guiding both school and university-level students towards a deeper understanding of chemistry. My focus is on making theoretical chemistry engaging, clear, and meaningful. I use conceptual models to simplify abstract ideas. I also emphasise analytical derivations to help students see the logic behind every formula.
Subjects like physical chemistry, quantum chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics are taught step by step. I believe strong fundamentals lead to long-term success. My sessions are structured, interactive, and adapted to each student’s pace. I encourage curiosity and independent thinking in every class. My teaching approach in Chemistry is calm, clear, and deeply focused on understanding concepts rather than memorising them. I encourage students to think slowly and reflect on what they learn. This helps them build confidence and accuracy. My sessions include problem-solving, real examples, and guided practice. I also connect chemistry with biology and industrial applications to make learning more meaningful.
Students interested in deeper thinking, creative science ideas, and independent exploration feel comfortable in my classes. I support them in developing their own way of understanding and expressing scientific ideas. I help them grow stronger in exams, assignments, and advanced topics. At the same time, I create a peaceful learning space where they can focus and improve steadily.
