My usual approach when teaching is exercise based. I will explain the concept, allow the student to make an attempt based on my explanation and then I clarify what they may have gotten wrong. In case they think they got it right, I will ask them to explain why exactly they think they are correct; in order to build their confidence in the subject matter.
A typical lesson would involve conversation, explanation of grammatical rules, exercises and correction of the exercise.
The lessons are for anyone willing to learn French regardless of their ages.
