About Volodymyr
Having now taught or studied chemistry for the best part of 20 years, I am obviously passionate about the subject.
My aim in becoming a teacher was always to promote and push Chemistry to my pupils.
Having now gone from teacher to Head of Chemistry to now Head of Science, I have shown my ability in various posts managing members of staff and pupils with respect and, most importantly, kindness. At the end of the day, if everyone exercised just 1 % more kindness to one another, the world would be a much better place.
There is so much more to the subject than what is in the textbooks, and I always try to share the bigger picture with my pupils and show them how chemistry is essential to our world.

By using various techniques, I look to build a strong knowledge of the core topics in chemistry (and other sciences). Through the use of analogies, diagrams, returning to 1st principles, recall, and consistent practice, I hope to boost confidence in my tutees' abilities.
I have a particular focus on A-Level Chemistry as this is my passion, but I am not against GCSE as well.
Having taught now for 7 years and grown in the profession, I wish to help tutees take that extra step, grow their abilities and knowledge, and succeed in their A-Levels and beyond
Lessons are generally 1 hour and, depending on circumstances, can be in person or online.
