About Patrick
I have been tutoring students since 2014 in Science and Mathematics at all levels from secondary school to University. I hold a Chemistry degree with masters in Materials Science and I am currently working towards my PhD in Science Communication and Policy. I love science, and I love teaching, and many of the people I have tutored have pursued science degrees after passing their A levels with me.

My main method is to identify what fundamental the student is struggling with, address that problem, and then they can build on a good foundation to tackle harder problems, specifically in the exam they need to pass. I believe each lesson has to have a specific learning target and be efficient with time. 5 mins for introduction, 35 mins to work the problem, 10 mins to practice exam questions, 10 mins to iron out any difficulties.
