About Tomoya
I am an undergraduate Chemistry student at the University of Oxford with three years of tutoring experience, helping students improve their understanding, confidence and exam performance in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Chemistry. Alongside covering the core curriculum and exam technique, I can also support students aiming for top universities with Oxford and Cambridge admissions tests and interview preparation, as well as students looking to challenge themselves beyond the syllabus through Olympiads and other academic competitions. Having placed in the top 30 nationally in the UK Chemistry Olympiad and achieved a Distinction in the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1, I can share first-hand experience of tackling the challenging problem-solving questions required at this level.

I have passion in teaching maths/chemistry to help students understand difficult concepts and gain an genuine interest in subjects as well as teaching useful techniques to gain marks in A levels. In addition, I will be able to help students with more challenging tasks including Oxbridge interview and chemistry/maths competitions.
