About Faye
I am a chemistry tutor with 8 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform. Over time, this curiosity developed into a passion for teaching and helping students understand complex concepts in a simple way. I have worked with students from different levels and helped them improve their understanding and confidence. My aim is to make chemistry simple, engaging, and easy to learn for every student.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I break down complex topics into smaller steps so students can understand them easily. I use simple examples and practical explanations to make learning effective. I also encourage students to think independently and ask questions freely. Creating a supportive learning environment is very important to me. Students feel comfortable during lessons and are able to learn at their own pace. I provide regular feedback and guidance to help them improve consistently.
I continue to update my knowledge and teaching methods to keep my lessons effective and relevant. Teaching chemistry is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and understanding. I enjoy helping learners overcome challenges and develop interest in the subject. My goal is to help students succeed academically and feel confident in their abilities. By the end, students feel more prepared, motivated, and capable of understanding chemistry with clarity and confidence while continuing to strengthen their analytical thinking skills.

My chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly and apply them with confidence. I focus on explaining how topics such as atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, and equilibrium are connected. This helps students see chemistry as a logical and structured subject. I use simple explanations, real-life examples, and step-by-step methods to make learning easier. Each lesson is carefully planned so students can build their understanding gradually. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Practice problems are included in every lesson to improve accuracy and confidence.
Lessons are tailored based on each student’s level and learning pace. Beginners focus on basic concepts with clear explanations and guided practice. Intermediate learners work on balancing equations, chemical calculations, and understanding reaction patterns. Advanced students focus on organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and exam preparation strategies. I provide detailed explanations and regular feedback in every session. Students are encouraged to explain their answers, which improves clarity and understanding. Revision sessions are included to strengthen memory and retention of concepts.
Chemistry becomes easier when students understand concepts deeply and practise regularly. My goal is to help learners overcome confusion and develop confidence in the subject.
