About Sona
These lessons offer a clear and structured approach to navigating the world of organic compounds. Complex topics like nomenclature, functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and isomerism are broken down into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Visual aids and conceptual mapping are used to make learning more intuitive and engaging. Each session is designed to build a strong foundation, helping learners connect ideas and see the bigger picture of organic chemistry. You will gain the skills to identify patterns, predict reactions, and understand molecular behaviour with confidence. Regular practice and feedback ensure steady progress and deeper understanding. The approach encourages active learning, where questions and problem-solving are part of every lesson. Support is provided at every step to help you excel and strengthen your skills. These lessons prepare learners for advanced topics and practical applications in chemistry.

I am a dedicated Chemistry tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Chemistry with Forensic Science. My passion lies in helping students explore advanced spectroscopic techniques for chemical identification, including NMR, IR, and Mass Spectrometry. I guide learners through interpreting complex spectra with clarity and confidence. Together, we work on elucidating molecular structures and solving unknown compound problems step by step. I focus on making challenging concepts accessible through clear explanations and practical examples. My teaching bridges theory with real-world applications, showing how instrumental methods are essential in modern chemical analysis. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring steady progress and deep understanding. I emphasise hands-on learning and consistent practice to strengthen analytical skills. My approach helps students not only interpret spectra but also connect them to chemical structures and reactions.
