What Do I Teach?
I offer bespoke Business Studies tutoring at GCSE, A-Level and Degree Level (or equivalent) and Geography tutoring at GCSE and A-Level (or equivalent), with lessons tailored to the needs of individual students and exam curriculums. While I’m happy to plan a scheme of lessons suited to the curriculum being studied, I also actively encourage my students to bring specific topic areas they are struggling with to our sessions, with the aim of providing an opportunity for us to workshop these topics together, improving overall understanding and knowledge of exam question types often encountered for these specific topic areas. I find tutoring relationships work best where students have as much input into what their lessons look like as the tutor does, and aim to adopt this student-led approach to all sessions.
Alongside specific subject-based tutoring, I am also happy to career mentor students, offering advice and guidance regarding how they can become a stand out candidate within their field both for job and / or university applications. I have stood as a mentor as part of multiple university and professional in-work mentorship schemes, and am happy to offer CV / UCAS guidance on its own, or integrated as part of subject-specific tutoring.
