About Bailey
Hi, I'm Bailey! I spent the last five years living in Germany because of my family's military service, and that experience taught me how to adapt quickly, connect with people from all kinds of backgrounds, and stand on my own two feet in unfamiliar situations. Now I'm a cadet at The Citadel, where the daily grind has sharpened my discipline, organization, and time management, and taught me what it really means to stay committed to a goal even when it's hard.
When it comes to tutoring, I truly believe mistakes are where the real learning happens. I want every student I work with to feel safe messing up, asking "silly" questions, and wrestling with tough problems without ever feeling embarrassed or discouraged. My goal isn't just to get you through algebra; it's to help you actually understand it, build real confidence in your own problem-solving abilities, and walk away with a foundation strong enough to carry you into whatever math comes next.

As a Citadel cadet, I have developed strong time-management, organization, and study skills while balancing a demanding academic and cadet schedule. I bring that experience into tutoring by helping students understand algebra through clear, patient explanations and practical examples. I believe middle and high school algebra is a foundational part of future mathematics, so my goal is not only to help students succeed in their current classes, but also to build the confidence and skills they need for more advanced math and college.
