About the lesson

I am a very experienced Learning Support tutor who can help children with Learning Diffiiculities access any curriculum area.
I have a proven track record in helping these children gain their deserved SATS and GCSE levels.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

In the main I teach English and Maths up to GCSE ( across all Key Stages) but my specialism is in helping children with Special Needs like autism and Dyslexia.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

Qualified in Sciences to degree level, I hold the OCR RSA Level5 certificate in teaching learners with SpLD -Numeracy and Literacy.
I also hold the PTTLS qualification.

- How much do you charge?

£20.00 per hour KS1 AND 2
£25.00 per hr KS2 AND 3-with a 10% discount if 2 hours per week are booked, 30% for 3 or more.

- Where do you teach?

I will travel within a 15 mile radius of my home-currently visiting Blandford, Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Dorchester., Sturminster Newton
I also have a teaching room set up in my home. I will charge £2 per hour less if you come to me.

- When are you available?

I am happy to work during weekends, evenings and school holidays. I have some space currently for children who are home-schooled for Maths, Science and English during the day. I currently have 2 children with Aspergers who come twice a week and will do 50% discounts for group teaching. I am VERY experienced in this area and children previously not attempting any academic work are now doing essays and calculations. I am ASD trained.
