About Jifeng
I am a classically trained music student with over 10 years of experience. I possess an Associate Diploma in Piano Performance in the RCM program, and two-time recipient of the Chopin Award, among various other awards, at the Langley Community Music School Scholarship Festival. I am currently a student teacher pursuing an Associate Diploma in Piano Pedagogy. I enjoy working with younger children and I have experience in tutoring music. I strive to bring out each student's music potential through engaging exploration of the musical world. Rest assured that you or your child's musical journey is in good hands!

I believe music is a language, a means of creative expression, and that it should be fun! My goal is to develop the student's skills through teaching them both the technique and theory in a structured and engaging manner, and to build a balanced and varied repertoire consisting of all genres of music. I can be a tutor, a theory coach, or even a facilitator for supplementary practice! For teaching, I use the bestselling Piano Adventures method for beginning students, and then the renowned Royal Conservatory series. For students aged 6-12, including complete beginners.
