About Calla
I am a guitar tutor with 4 years of experience, and I work as both a performer and composer. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a Guitar Emphasis. My approach views music as a lifelong creative journey. I specialize in acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar. Beginners receive clear instruction to build confidence. Advanced players refine their technical and expressive skills. I focus on intricate arrangements and detailed musicianship. Lessons are designed to develop both discipline and freedom. Students are encouraged to express themselves through guitar. As a performer, I share the importance of tone and interpretation. As a composer, I bring creativity into every lesson. I believe every student has a unique voice to discover. Guitar is not just practice—it is an art form that grows with you.

My approach to guitar teaching combines technique, creativity, and practical knowledge. I want students to feel confident as musicians and caretakers of their instruments. Lessons include foundations like chords, rhythm, and fingerstyle. At the same time, I emphasize string changing, guitar maintenance, and setup basics. Students also learn about guitar electronics and effects pedals. These skills help shape personal tone and style. I support beginners with patient guidance and step-by-step learning. Advanced students receive challenges in expressive playing and tone control. The Campfire Strummer is prepared for casual performance with strong instrument care habits. The Worship Leader gains mastery over both musical delivery and technical setup. Lessons are lively, interactive, and personal to each learner. I encourage curiosity, creativity, and responsibility. My goal is for students to master their sound and enjoy their guitar fully. Playing and caring for an instrument become part of one complete musical journey.
