About Anja
I am an innovative Clinical Pharmacist (M.Pharm) with a passion for teaching and tutoring. I want to be more than just another link in the chain of healthcare. I want to lead, initiate, develop and share my knowledge within the healthcare profession to make a meaningful impact within the sphere of pharmacy. As part of my M.Pharm in Clinical Pharmacy, I was employed as a part-time junior lecturer for B.Pharm students where I was assigned to teach multiple clinical modules and gained experience in facilitating problem-based learning activities and discovered innovative approaches toward teaching and learning.

I follow a pathophysiologic approach to disease states and current pharmacologic therapies. A Pathophysiologic Approach offers a holistic, simplified approach that links pharmacology essentials to therapeutic goals. Instead of surveying drugs in isolation, I aim to place them in the context of body system and disease to draw connections between the pathophysiology and drug interventions.
I am confident to tutor in English and Afrikaans.
