Hi there, my name is Dr Michael Grant and I'm a medical doctor in the highly competitive NHS Academic Foundation Program in London. Alongside my medical degree I also hold a Bachelors of Science (First class honours) in Molecular Medicine.
I have an extensive knowledge and extensive knowledge in the field of medicine. I have been tutoring and mentoring medical students for the last 5 years . I have a MD in medicine and currently pursuing my masters in neurology in the University of Sheffield which is a Russell group university. I guarantee progress and better understanding of the subject if you choose me.
I plan my lessons according to what the students would like to achieve and what they found challenging. I am very adaptable and flexible as to what is covered in each session as long as students have achieved their learning outcome or lesson goal. I use diagrams and keywords to help students understand concepts. Mnemonics are useful for memorising solid information for example medical conditions.
My teaching method involves focusing on learning the basic concepts at the beginning of the lesson and then tackling commonly asked exam questions on the subject to reinforce. For medicine it is crucial not only to have the knowledge but to know how to apply it and this is where students struggle usually.
I have a wealth of experience tutoring applicants for their examinations and interviews. I provide academic knowledge, study tips and additional revision materials. I always encourage students to challenge the ways in which they approach their goals, to boost their confidence and increase their competitiveness when it comes to university applications.
I believe in explanation. If a student can fully understand a concept then the questions related to the topic shouldn't throw them off because they haven't just memorised answers, they've spent time actually understanding what is happening. I also spend a lot of time focusing on what the student believes are their weak areas, since they will know best what they need to work on.
I have always been passionate about teaching and developing students in medicine. Having spent most of my life studying, I have learnt a thing or two about adapting my own approach, learning styles and therefore teaching styles - which is why I believe in tailoring teaching to the student.
I have been tutoring for the past 5 years and in my time I have seen more than 15 students enter into medical school after following my tuition. I have delivered lectures to school around London and am invited to the Royal Society of Medicine yearly to lecture on medical school entrance. I offer advice and tailored guidance through all steps of Medical School admissions.
I have achieved 10A* at GCSE and 4A*s at A-level in Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. I am currently undertaking a medical degree at the University of Cambridge, having just completed my first year. In my lessons, I like to focus on areas the student is struggling with, rather than teaching them the whole syllabus.
simple and direct. I will plan lessons according to your request as well as going and beyond to hone on principles and to check your understanding.
My teaching method is very simple. I try to make concept simple so that student can learn by easy way. Also i provide online lesson includes notes etc. I teach student in that way student should not be feel bored and take interest for more lessons.
My approach is necessarily directed by the student in question and their strengths and weaknesses are. For a medical school application the first step is to go through the personal statement and ensure it is covering all the main requirements of a future doctor.

- I'm a fairly laid back student who believes that repetition is the key to success. You don't practice until you get it right, but until you can't get it wrong. - I am happy to tailor each tutorial to the needs of the student but I will generally go through the theory of a given topic and then test it using past paper questions.
