About Ethan
I am a former competitive tennis player who now coaches part time. I was academy trained as a child before quitting tennis as a young adult and then picking it up again in my 20s. Since then, I have trained myself to about a UTR 10 level. I believe that traditional approaches to tennis pedagogy can be useful, but through my experience as an adult relearning the game I also understand its limitations. The best thing anyone can do for their tennis is to hit thousands and thousands of balls with someone at a higher level who will push their cutting edge forward. My students have all improved significantly since working with me, and I look forward to continuing that pattern with you!!

I'll get right to it. Most tennis coaches are going to lazily feed you balls so they can keep their heartrate low and clock in more hours. I take the opposite approach. I work at most four hours per day because I think tennis students deserve a coach who will run down every ball and finish the session having put in just as much effort as they have. If you want a tennis coach who will actually hit with you and push you to the next level, look no further.
