About Shameka
Hi there! Thank you for stopping on my page. I am Shameka Lewis and have tutored for two years, with Catapult Tutoring services and Rising Minds. I am a 4th grade teacher, and love servicing students through tutoring. I believe tutoring students enhances each student's confidence and believe they are more than capable to tackle academics, eagerly!

My aim as a tutor is to develop in my students a deep understanding and self- confidence in answering difficult math or reading problems/questions. My philosophy is, I believe the purpose of education is to ensure all students learn and progress to the best of their ability. I believe students learn best when they are shown exactly how to do something and are given the right tools and tips to succeed academically.
