About Donevan
Hello, my name is Donevan, and I am a Computer Science Tutor. I graduated from Texas State University in 2020 with a BA in Computer Science. In my undergraduate I worked in a tutoring center on campus where I had the pleasure of tutoring countless students for 4 years. After I graduated, I continued to private tutor and have been enjoying it so much that I intend to return someday to get my masters and become a professor.
I am passionate about helping others and want to give other people the tools they need to succeed.

I like to start our sessions off with spending some time to look over the assignment and going through it to make sure we have a clear understanding of the instructions. I ask a lot of questions to gauge where about my students are struggling.
I want my sessions to feel more like a conversation than the usual teacher-student relationship. I encourage all my students to tell me when to stop or start over an explanation so I can try again in a way they might better understand.
I am comfortable tutoring for middle school through college level courses and hobbyists.
