About Christopher
Hello, thanks for considering me for a lesson. I'm Chris and a musician based in Miami, Fl. I've been a musician for over 16 years now and I've been a professional teacher for nearly a decade.
I've been both performing and teaching music since I was in middle school, where I participated in the Band and Jazz programs. After gaining a love for music, I decided to pursue it further and left my home town of Miami towards Orlando where I received my Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies with my main instrument being guitar.
I can teach you all the skills necessary to become the musician you want to be. I cater my lessons to the needs of my students and use goal-oriented approach to structuring my curriculum. I can teach how to read music (standard/tabs), music theory, compositing/arranging, improvisation, technique, and much more.
I've got years of experience in the field performing in venues ranging from local bars to large concert halls, such as the Dr. Phillips Center in downtown Orlando. I play in every genre, from Classical to Heavy Metal. I look forward to sharing what I've learned from the industry to help you achieve your goals!

**Goal Oriented Lessons**
My primary focus as a teacher is to help you achieve your goals. Not all students will benefit immediately from opening a lesson book and going through it example-by-example. Instead, I consider my student's goals and create a curriculum for them that targets the skill they need to develop first.
**An Informed Education**
With 16+ years of experience both in and out of the classroom, I bring the lessons I've learned to the table for all of my students. Having received a Bachelors of Music Degree from the University of Central Florida, I also provide a collegiate level education for my students. I have nearly a decade of teaching experience, working with students ranging from the age of 6 to 82.
**Fun Lessons**
Becoming a great musician is a life long journey but that doesn't mean it can't be fun along the way. I provide a stress-free environment for my students to grow with the use of proper planning and setting small, realistic goals to incrementally achieve. I want to help foster the passion my students have for music and see them enjoy the journey as I have.
