About Tom
I am a college student and just finished my sophomore year. Since starting college, I've volunteered at multiple local schools helping students one-on-one with their work. I have tutored kids of all ages: leading learning activities in elementary school classrooms, as well as helping high school aged special needs students complete their requirements for graduation.

The work environment I will provide is based on key principles of respect, patience, and understanding. I've learned from my experiences that students are smarter and more capable than they're often given credit for, and my own experience of high school is still fresh in my mind. As a result, I have a strong understanding of the needs of students as well as the ability to determine the needs of any individual student.
