I am a 16 year old first year college student whom would like to give French lessons to those in Secondary school.
French is my first language and I am willing to travel to the students' house or go to the local library.
Although I have never done tutoring before, I have helped classmates pass their GCSE at my old school by giving them lessons after school times or break and lunch time. I get along with students all of the time as I am fun and not so strict.
If you are a GCSE student, I will be helping for every skill - reading, writing, listening and speaking. We would do many past papers and fun activities.
I have never had any experiences for teaching. This is my first time but I have achieved an A* in my GCSE French exams and I am currently studying A-Level French at college. The students who
I have helped when I was in secondary school have all achieved a B or an A. However, this was not a professional job - just helping classmates.
A highly motivated and hard-working individual, who is seeking to begin a career in teaching. Currently, I am in sixth-form college studying French, English Literature and Government and Politics as A-Levels. I speak fluent French as I was born and raised in the city of Lyon.
My strengths are planning, organising, problem solving and working with peers. I believe that I am reliable, persistent and sociable.
In year 9, my French teacher had organised for my classmates and I to work with year 5s - year 6s in French. We had created power points and many game for them. This was for a week during our French lessons.
During my work experience in year 10, I worked at a primary school in Stratford. Undoubtedly, I enjoyed this work experience as it has enabled me to work with kids and become more responsible and organised. It was an extremely pleasant school and I have achieved a certificate from this.
During my secondary school days, I have achieved a number of awards. For instance, in year 10, I had the most amount of merits in the year group. I am really proud of this as it demonstrates that I remained hard-working throughout the year. Moreover, I have also achieved a number of certificates for being 'Student of the week'.
In my GCSEs, I have achieved 2 A*s, 2 As, 4 Bs and 5Cs.
