About Victoria
I swam for the Wheeling YMCA Swim Team for 12 years and also competed in U.S. Swimming Competitions. For 4 years I swam for Wheeling Park High School’s Swim Team and was team captain my senior year. Also, during my junior year of high school I lead the girls team in winning the State Championship!
I was a lifeguard at the Wheeling Island Pool (Bridge Park Pool) for 4 summers and gave swimming lessons through the Wheeling Recreation Department to ages raging 3-10.
Given my background, I can teach any stroke or technique however I specialize in Breaststroke and Butterfly.

My teaching approach is based on the level of expertise the swimmer displays. When teaching swimming, have it be perfecting techniques or learning a new stroke, the approach must be aligned with the individual’s ability. This way it is ensured they are learning and improving rather than just checking boxes.
