Teaching for me means passing my passion for the water to my students . I can help you to understand how to use your body in the water to achieve all of your goals, in a enjoyable and effective lesson.
I basically like to coach on an individual basis. Eventhough I'll be having a group of students, I like to give individual attention to each & everyone of them.
I am able to teach all levels, from the first time being in a swimming pool, to a competitive swimmer wanting some individual advise on technique. I can either work to the Swim England learn to swim pathway with badges and certificates or on what an individual would like to learn as being in the water is all about enjoying yourself.
My lessons for beginners usually contain breathing while encouraging to put their face under water, with legs kicking and gradually introducing arms movements and techniques needed for the 4 swimming styles (freestyle, backstroke, breakstroke, butterfly stroke). I am planning specific training sessions for each one of you depending on your needs and previous experience.
I am a Qualified swimming teacher with experience teaching babies, young children, teenagers and adults of all abilities. I believe that it is important for everyone to learn to swim, and that no matter what age you start to learn you can do it! I have a passion for teaching and am hoping to go on to become a primary school teacher after I finished my BA at Cardiff University.
I practically explain how and when certain movement needs to be done. It needs approximately 1 hour to learn the basic, even though it depends how far and how fast a person wants to learn. I always use some fun exercises with children.
I am an ASA level 2 qualified Swimming teacher. Qualified RLSS Lifeguard Pool Plant Operator I have experience teaching baby's through to Adults. I follow the ASA programme and teach stage 1 through to stage 10.
I encourage children to reach their highest potential, not just to swim, through a growth in confidence and technique! My lessons usually contain improving kicking, encouraging putting their face under the water, gradually introducing arm movements and then breathing, once the child is confident swimming and is having fun!
I teach the younger ages at Gainsborough Dolphins Swimming Club from around 7-11 on Wednesday and Thursday nights. I teach all 4 strokes with experience at the top level in Lincolnshire. I am able to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a swimmer and will help focus the lesson on those specific areas. I have taught over 100 swimmers through the club with my 2 years experience.
My method to teaching is simple, go through each challenge at a time continuously supporting my client. Always demonstrating and being hands on in the water if you need a little more support. If my client starts to get frustrated with their self for whatever reason I attempt to make them realize that Rome wasn't built in one day! Take a breath, lets start it again.. slowly! Patients is key.

Im very proactive and always keen to learn something new from salsa to snowboarding and therefore understanding the learning curve and input needed when learning new skills. "Swimming is not just about learning technique, it's about building a relationship with the water".
My teaching method simply depends on my students preferences and what they would like to learn (basic techniques, learn a short routine, improving on already learned skills...).I am very flexible when it comes to methodology and like to switch up my teaching to meet the needs of my swimmer.

I am a very experienced swimming coach with experience teaching all levels. I have taught across the UK and Middle East. My teaching style is to get the student to feel comfortable and then to push to get the best out of them.
I worked in Italy, Rome, in different sport centres and on private yachts. Teaching: I trained children, young people and adults. Also I had classes of babies (0-2 years old) in order to make them familiarize with water from the real beginning of their life. This makes them perfectly comfortable to start, later in the years, the swimming lessons without fear and with strong breathing capacities.

Learning has always been most efficient and easiest for me when having fun so whilst my lessons are educational they are founded on play. The most important thing for me as a teacher is getting to know my student, their interests, what they want to learn and how they learn. There is no right or wrong way to learn only the best way for you and I will always try to tailor my approach to suit you.
My teaching in swimming consists of select courses to suit the needs of the individual, by that being improving speed to compete at high levels to improving technique of certain or all strokes.
I am a previous competitive swimmer who is happy to teach others how to both learn to swim or for those more experienced, to help improve the technique and help progress your swimming. My lessons are sure to be enjoyable and efficient.
