I like to visually teach and not make everything about writing loads on paper. I find this is more memorable but generally I would like to know how others learn effectively and mould the teaching around what suits a student .
I base my classes on what I believe my clients to be weakest on and search for ways to improve them and help them to develop their speed, power and their technique. It is important to make sure that the client is motivated and focused on what they need to achieve.
Monika Hi I’m Monika and I am Level 2 qualified swimming teacher, with multiple years of experience teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities. I love seeing my pupils grow in their skill, and more importantly confidence in the water, in lessons with me as well as their overall enjoyment in the pool.
I practically explain how and when certain movement needs to be done. It needs approximately 1 hour to learn the basic, even though it depends how far and how fast a person wants to learn. I always use some fun exercises with children.
Since moving to Scotland, I have noticed that there is a lack of experience and knowledge in the sport- mainly due to it being uncommon in many schools.
Each person is different, so different will be the teaching process, let's have a talk to understand what stops you to practise the best sport and set your next goal. I can teach individually or group lessons.
My teaching method is to tailor exercises to participant’s need. I’d love to show people how useful and enjoyable swimming might be. I can give you hints and tips what to do to improve your technique as well as endurance in swimming.
Based on my student's levels and needs I apply different methods. Whether my student is an explosive swimmer or a long pace swimmer I apply the most suiting method to maximize the efficiency of the training. As in water polo I have been trained by top coaches in the world (Serbian system) and I apply their techniques.
I am a graduate in BSc Accounting and Finance and having benefited from a very good private education tutor an opportunity to use my talents to help others toward maximising their full potential and chances of success in any future endeavours. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I am an ASA level 2 qualified Swimming teacher. Qualified RLSS Lifeguard Pool Plant Operator I have experience teaching baby's through to Adults. I follow the ASA programme and teach stage 1 through to stage 10.
My teaching method is based on both theoretical practical approaches (1/3 theoretical and 2/3 practical). I bring some of useful related clips for student and after that students can apply the trained method on the applicable program and also can change it to other program and use their talent in order to give better results.
One to One swimming coaching. Using intuition I will help and assist you to get up to speed in the water. How to tread water to stay afloat. Different swimming strokes. Breathing techniques and more to make you a competent swimmer.
My lessons are 30 minutes one to one in the water. I find being in the water to show demonstrations and to assist manually when learning are really beneficial to the swimmer. Everyone is unique and will learn at different speeds which is another benefit to one to one tuition. During a lesson we will cover aquatic and safety skills such as floating, rotation, water confidence and swimming strokes.
My training methods are structured and progressive, once at a competitive standard then training can be ramped up and be more intensive in the pool. There will always be an onside (or a before and after) warm up and cool down. Lessons can be taught at the side of the pool or in the pool for 1-1 training. Underwater camera use for stroke improvement.
My method to teaching is simple, go through each challenge at a time continuously supporting my client. Always demonstrating and being hands on in the water if you need a little more support. If my client starts to get frustrated with their self for whatever reason I attempt to make them realize that Rome wasn't built in one day! Take a breath, lets start it again.. slowly! Patients is key.
I believe in building the pupils confidence by making the lessons fun and focusing on personal servival skills fist.once trust has been established between the pupil and the teacher the learning progression period is quicker and easier.
I aim to ensure all students feel supported and encouraged. This is achieved through student input into sessions, personalised sessions and an enthusiastic approach.
I approach every lesson differently and get a sound knowledge of who I am teaching or coaching to improve them and enhance them on to the next level
I am a very experienced Swimming Teacher and Coach as outlined by my CV and am very familiar with working on a 1:1 and 1:2 basis with pupils and fully endorse the benefits to the student (s) of working in this way; i.e. students learn at a faster rate and in a more personable way.
I approach each lesson on an individual basis. When I begin teaching a new class/swimmer, I use the first few sessions to asses and evaluate the swimmer. I will then Create a programme based on their individual needs.
My teaching method is a hands on approach, showing people how to complete the activity correct to prevent injury or harm and with the best possible plan to ensure greatness and effectiveness.
Learning has always been most efficient and easiest for me when having fun so whilst my lessons are educational they are founded on play. The most important thing for me as a teacher is getting to know my student, their interests, what they want to learn and how they learn. There is no right or wrong way to learn only the best way for you and I will always try to tailor my approach to suit you.
Showing what you should do and help you with your body balance, doing practice often and you will be learned how to swim.
I strive to make each and every lesson personal, ensuring that no two lessons are the same and that progression both physically and mentally is continually taking place.
Hi I am Arabella and I am a swimming tutor. My lessons will be 20 minits long we will have lesions on Monday Wednesday Friday and Sunday if you can not do a day then tell me in the lesson before and we can sort it out for you.
I basically like to coach on an individual basis. Eventhough I'll be having a group of students, I like to give individual attention to each & everyone of them.
My teaching methodology is based on the age of the students and I also base my teaching on how well my students can swim.
My teaching methods account for all types of learner's. I follow a progressive structure throughout the lesson but constantly consider learners requirements are met. Children usually need a mix of fun and learning to achieve objectives. Adults enjoy an informal but more technical approach. If not instructed otherwise, i tend to focus the lesson on a different theme to the previous.
