About Gina
I have been in the water ever since I was 2 years old but swam competitively since I was 7 years old. I have taught swim lessons for 3+ years. I teach children ages 3-16 at any level of experience. I currently swim for Alfred University Swim Team and will be graduating next year. My goal when teaching swimming is to not only ensure that students feel more safe and comfortable in the water but to have confidence as well.

I feel that each lesson is targeted differently depending on the swimmer's needs and experience in the water. I approach each lesson by building what was taught the day before. Repetitive practice makes perfect. Once a swimmer feel or looks like they are ready to move onto the next level of expertise, I will talk to the child first about what they are going to do and what it is going to look like and then they are going to attempt to practice it themselves.
