About Melisa
I hold a bachelor's degree in Literature from the National University of Colombia and also a TESOL certificate from Global Leadership College. I will be starting a Master of Arts in Media next September. During my time in Canada, I have taught Spanish in both private individual and group environments. I have experience working with staff in companies, seniors and University students, as well as groups of 3 to 10 people at Community Centres.

I focus on communication, as I know how much you can struggle with this when you are facing a new environment. Since language acquisition is a creative and active process, I always aim to provide tools (vocabulary, grammar, context) and an environment for students to be creative. I am there to provide them with correction and motivation to keep on getting better. It takes time, but it is possible!
