I have been giving tutions to students for 3 years. In my experience children are not forced to understand things specially a subject like maths. They tend to get the concept themselves when taught in a fun way. So yes, given a chance I can prove this too..

I think rather than making students learn formulaes , we should really focus on making them understand concept.
Also children teacher ratio is one more thing which should be kept in mind. I generally teach primary school students which is also the foundation and think that every student should be individually looked upon.
