About Catherine

My background includes a BM Commercial Music degree from Belmont University where I learned how to balance theory with pure performance. I have helped 386 students refine their pedaling technique and master the art of dynamics and expression. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable with memorization techniques and ear training exercises during our time together.
I integrate rhythm and timing into every lesson to build a solid foundation for your playing. I also focus on sight transposition so you can play with more freedom across various styles. Many pianists struggle because they assume that more time at the keys automatically leads to better results.
