About Sonia
I have obtained degrees both in Italy and Australia and have worked in many roles throughout my 30+ years in the workforce. I teach English and Italian and freelance as a translator and editor. I have been learning several languages since I was little and I am currently fluent in 4, so I have a lot of experience on teaching and learning methods that work best for different audiences.

I meet students where they are and customise the teaching to their needs. Are you planning a trip to Italy and want to acquire basic vocabulary and get some useful tips on the Italian way of life? Are you studying Italian for leisure or at University level? No problem, my classes can be tailored to the occasional learner or the academic one. I have a keen interest in linguistics, so you can learn about the origin of the language and some classic literature if you wish. If you need Italian for work purposes, my 30+ years in the workforce will provide the vocabulary and the uses & customs to localise perfectly your knowledge.
Class duration can range from 1 to 2 hours according to need.
I teach all levels, ages 10-110.
