I have been giving private lessons for 8 years and I have trained about 25 students who passed the exams brilliantly (overseas students graduated in Italy). The key to my lessons is to be patient and be funny talking about each topic and in any circumstance.
My teaching methodology is based on firstly giving an overlook of the topic the student has to bring to school or to University. Once I have noticed the main problem of my pupils, I focus on them within the topic they are required to learn. My class are not longer than 2 hours and I make sure there is at least a 10 minutes break between them.
My teaching methodology is very simple. I don't have an only repetitive methodology, but I change it according to my student's needs and abilities. I think that all students have some latent ability and I would try to take them out and make them shine.
I use all my AUTHENTIC material. Made with my hands and BY the new technology. I have tools through which I create flashcards, I have videos, records, magazines,...so anything can be useful FOR THE STUDENT TO LEARN WITH FUN!!!!! I do my best to let the student feel comfortable, I incite my STUDENTS to study and to be happy during the lesson.
Hello, I am an Italian Film student in Glasgow. I have previously lived in Australia and Cornwall. I love languages, especially my mother tongue. I believe in a practical approach and use of the vocabulary. My lessons will focus on grammar and spelling at first, since they are the basis. I will also help you expand your vocabulary by studying different topics each lesson.
Throughout my classes I always communicate in Italian even with beginners as I find this helps improve comprehension the best (I resort to English only when needed). I like to build a professional and friendly rapport with my students and like to build my lessons around their interests and needs.
I think the best way to teach and learn a language is having a conversation. That doesn't need to be over complicated or about difficult topics since the purpose of this kind of exercise is to make you feel more and more comfortable and secure about your skills with the language.
My main method is letting go of the academic and learn the actual language Italians speak everyday on the workplace and in their daily life. Many books I have been dealing with presented a fake language, which foreign students are seldom made fun of. This does apply to every language. In fact, I found this to be the case in my experience with English and Mandarin too.
My classes will be focused in listening, speaking and writing, I will make a lot of notes for the students so that they can use it at home and practise,I will explain in an easy way the italian grammar, and we'll focus in italian conversation.
I privilege a personal approach to language tuition resulting in an enjoyable experience that is relevant to each student's interests. Lessons cover conversation, culture, grammar and daily life situations. Each lesson naturally progresses onto the next. They match ability and consist of a variety of activities to learn new material and reinforce that which has already been taught.
My teaching method is divided on 3 parts. The first one focused on Speaking and listening, the second one on Reading and the third one on Writing. This is a succesfull technique to learn and improve a new language.
I base my classes on topics of conversation and include in each grammar and sentence building elements that are repeated in order to help the student memorize. Depending on the level of the student lessons are planned differently. For a student with a stronger native language grammar level, lessons are more based on grammar topics.
Studying a foreign language is a way to think differently and to put ourselves in someone else's shoes. This is why my lessons are highly focused on Italian culture and society, providing the student with lively and real life examples. I do not ignore the importance of grammar, but I teach it in an interactive and engaging way. I am confident with 1.
My lessons are different for each person of course but usually I try to match learn and fun in order to be more productive and very efficiency for a fast and deep learning.
I base my classes on conversation. I teach the basics of Italian grammars as the conversation goes on. I will then fix the information learnt with writing and reading lessons. I encourage my students to carry a notebook that we will fill in together as a vocabulary as we go on, with both words and expressions used in the everyday life.
The staple of my teaching is to create bespoke lessons to make you achieve your goal effectively and quickly. I have proven experience in managing students’ different abilities and in breaking down complex concepts into easier chunks. Indeed, I’m convinced that, if properly approached and taught, every student is able to unlock their true potential.
I am a native Italian and I hold a BA and 2 postgraduate in translation; I have the most complete and thorough knowledge of the Italian language, in all its aspects, contexts, uses and hues. I am an inspirational teacher, I transmit to my students the passion for my job and the love for the subject I teach.
Thanks to my experience I am actually able now to offer Italian lessons at all levels. I am reliable, easy going, organised and I try to make sessions interesting and constructive in order to let my students reach their potential as easily as possible.
I would follow the methods that I learned from my previous experience in high-school, by providing materials for speaking, comprehension and writing exercise. I offer different categories of lessons: grammar, writing, speaking or specific lessons in accordance with students. I will always dedicate the first part of the lesson for the correction of any exercises completed by the student.

I am currently studying economic and finance in Oxford and I have studied languages and literature in Italy. Languages are my passion! Learning is fun and the method I use is interactive. Italian is my first language and the level is quite high.
In a nut shell, I am educated to PhD level. I am an intellectual historian. I also hold a master's degree in Translation and another in Environmental Studies. I have a PGCE in MFL and a BA in Italian Studies. I have taught around the world and as such, I have been exposed to different and differing people from all walks of life.
I try to create a tailor-made cours for the student, because everyone has different needs. I prefer teaching the grammar by listening some dialogues or by reading stories. If the lessons is on Skype, I use Google doc, because it allows the student to see in real time what I'm writing and vice-versa.
I am energetic, clean, tidy, respectful with a big smile all the time! I can either make the learning hours fun and playful or simply more serious.
My students describe me as very friendly and humorous! I tend to share videos, tunes, photos, articles with my students and they like my style. I think that the best way to learn a language is not only through grammar and exercises, but also through entertainment! I also like sharing many things that involves Italian world.
Italian is a rather complicated language, but it's not impossible! Whether it is in preparation for a holiday in the sun or a University course, my lessons will give my students the ability to learn the basics of conversational Italian in just a few weeks. My lessons are structured in two parts: reading/writing and conversation.
I use modern techniques for teaching. Teaching a language is not just about the grammar and I always try to make my students speak as much as possible during my lessons. The final goal is learning to communicate with othe people.
I firmly believe that the best way to learn languages is by communication and immersion in the culture of the country from which the language derives, and for this reason, my lessons focus both on speaking and literature on culture, providing a well-rounded approach to language.
I’m an enthusiastic individual, and I believe that to learn one has to be both disciplined and passionate about what they do.
I am willing to tutor GCSE and A level Italian, encouraging students to learn through conversation and acting out real-life situations.
