About Ailen
I am a passionate and ambitious graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Communications.
I've been in the UK for around a year now and studied Social Communications at the National University of Rosario, Argentina, whilst also working at Litoral TV Group, the biggest multimedia company outside of the Buenos Aires region.
I've studied English since age five and have been fluent for a good number of years now and wanting to put this into practice in a professional environment by starting a role in translation or Spanish teaching.
I also have experience teaching elderly adults how to use mobile apps in the Edmondo De Amicis University of Rosario, Argentina, developing patient and effective strategies with written and digital support to allow a better apprehension of content.

My teaching method is based on the experience and interests of the student. If we want to work to improve conversational skills we would probably discuss a YouTube video or play a game. If we want to learn how to write in Spanish, we would write about things that we are interested on.
I believe learning a language is not always the easiest task. That's why I choose to communicate with each other, set up a step by step plan and do what is needed to achieve our goals.
I am passionate about communications and technology so I would always try to find the best channel to prepare the lessons and make them the most effective, interesting and practical as possible.
